This one-of-a-kind, comic strip/activity book walks young readers through the life of LaTrese, an evangelist-in-the-making, who helps her cousin, Christian, understand how even little kids can hear Jesus call to them. At a time in popular culture when American society can no longer ignore our insistence that Black Lives Matter, this children’s comic book takes that message into the church, advocating that even in the Kingdom to come, Black kids’ lives definitely matter to Christ Jesus. In doing so, Jesus is Calling! challenges children ages 4-10 to think critically about their faith, understand their importance to God, and to embrace their innate ability to hear from Jesus for themselves.
